Fuck it, i'm sorry i took you guys' advice too harshly. It looks like its gonna hold to me... I've seen alot iffy'r setups hold jus fine. I'll gusset it so I'm not endangering anyones lives. I should've asked advice before I welded everything up and painted it... oh well... i know now. Thanks for the help guys...

I'm gonna gusset it so please, there's no need to pound it into my head anymore... i don't need anyone else tellin me the same damn thing. thanks... I'll post up some pics when i get it done...

Thanks again guys

i know you said your fully aware of what you need to do, but will you do it? i'd hope so. it would not only help safety wise, but your setup will honestly look 10x better with some cleanly done gussets coming off your bag plate. the gussets you used, i guess get cut down majorly on a mazda, just don't offer the support that a bigger one would. Whether it be going up, or down.

a lot of people in this thread have built numerous very reliable rides, if not full out cover trucks. none of them were trying to be jerks, or come off an asshole. maybe you took it that way, i'm not sure really. with this site you really need to take what people say, well more HOW they say it, with a grain of salt. numerous people (myself included) are huge smart asses, and the internet doesn't portray that. your comment about bowing down to them........perfect example. you came off as a jerk. one thing about this site....if you want to know the truth about the way your setup is done, your damn sure going to hear the good, the bad, the pretty and the ugly...even if you don't want to.

hope you get back under your truck shortly, would hate to see something fail when its such an easy fix. good lucky bro. post pics when your done.
