I just saw this thread last week. Tuesday I think it was. I thought wow thats how mine is done I better get under there and do something about it because you know those guys are right, it's all welded to the factory shock tower. So I figured I would get under there on the weekend and put some gussets on it. Well Friday morning on the way to work, I hit a bridge section that had a big lip on it and POW! my shit broke. 70 miles an hour and the drivers side front corner hit the ground, as if that wasn't bad enough the upper control arm being jacked up into the engine bay wedged itself against my steering shaft and could barely steer it back into the righ lane and off the road. So now after a week I finally should be able to get it off the jack stands and back on the road. Now that I cut all of the factory stuff and started over with new upper arm bracket, new bag plates, 7 gussets on each one. I know who to listen to now. Just wish I hadn't decided to wait till the weekend that I never made it to.
