I live in Florida!! But there were a couple of times I had to throw a blanket over it at night so it wouldn't freeze up..

sounds like your valves are freezing up,if you can get to them just use a lighter to heat them up alittle bit. That usually works for me.Then put some airbrake anti-freeze in your tank that will help.I have it in my tank and never have trouble with my valves freezing.

okay thanks, everything is mounted inside, I messed with it some more today and the front is lifting better, but does not go up to full lift and it is still taking a few seconds before the air will let out...also sometimes the tank does not fill up fully

probably need to take your valves apart and clean them out sounds like you have some shit in the air passage.as far as the tank not filling all the way check you checkvalve on your comp.

My leader hose froze on me too. It was -22F here for a few days. Warmed up to 34 degrees on Christmas Eve, decided to pull my drain cock out of the tank, I guess it was clogged so I wasn't aware of the 2" of water and ice built up inside my tank. Let it sit for a day and a half to drain, put it back together, it was below freezing again today and I was happy it went all day with no issues. I might pick up some anti-freeze anyway as I use my truck daily and this time of year it can hit -20F easily.

I have had trouble w/ my front valves hesitating ever since I had my dually bagged....even in warm weather. I put some airbrake anti-freeze in my line going to my airtank and now they work perfect. I highly suggest using this stuff if you dont run Nitrogen...

okay I checked all the truck stops around here and auto part stores I know and they didn't have any, so I just ordered some of the antifreeze online and will do that when it comes in....probably a dumb question, but where exactly are you adding this in at??

just add it in a port on your tank, but drain your tank of any water first.
