tow rigs and trailers

Dam guys you got some wicked rigs.I have a 1999 gmc 1/2 extened cab with the 5.3 but i'm not sure with a 18 ft open deck car trailer that it will pull my 1991 chev 1/2 extened cab because of the weight.I would like a 3/4 ton diesel but dam way to much cash right now for one of those babies.I would really like a lifted 3/4 ton diesel to but hey beggers can't be chosers run what ya brung i guess.Thanks for all the great pic's guys keep them commin.

i tow with my bagged 99 crew cab 454. gets 10 mpg in town empty, on the interstate empty or loaded. pulls good though

Lorren you have a great truck to tow with. The 5.3 does awesome pulling. I have friend who does hot shots with his girlfriends 5.3 Tahoe all the time. He was always telling me how good it did but I never really believed him. Then we pulled my truck with my other friends 5.3 1500 and it surprised the shit out of me. Pulled great and did very well on gas. Also one of my dads friends has a 24' enclosed for his race car, and was telling me his 5.3 pulled better than his 454 dually and kills it on gas mileage. If I didnt despise GM's so much Id get one.

03 Ram 2500 and borrowed trailers. Only got 40k miles on it and it as towed everything I have tried to pull with it pretty easy.



Planning to get a diesel someday but this will work for now.

I tow with my 2008 Dodge Ram 2500. Its a 6.7 Cummins Turbo Diesel and does the job great. Dont even know I have a trailer behind me. My trailer is a 20ft enclosed Cargo Mate trailer. I build the trailers for a living so I got a good deal on it. Didnt have a picture of it so I just got one of the company website. Same trailer as in the picture.
