^^^ only if the part is mounted in "double-shear." Meaning that the bolt goes through an inner AND an outter plate. In single shear, I would steer clear of anything smaller than 5/8" unless you've really done your homework and know that your part will be strong enough.

I think double shear setups look 100x better anyways.

I've done a couple watts setups. One uses a poly bushing as the pivot. The linkages have a poly on one end and a heim on the other. this truck is yet to see the road but I dont foresee any issues. If the bushing wears out, its $10 to replace.

On the other one I used a super pivot as the center pivot and poly ends for all the linkage ends. The superpivot is kinda nice because it compensates for the 'arc' of the 4 link allowing the use of polys on the linkages. Truck was on the road all summer with zero issues.

The next project I'm working on will probably use a bearing center, and heims.

That would certainly work Devin. They are a bit pricey but they have the proven johnnyjoint design. It appears that you can buy replacement parts if needed as well. the center is better off as a bushing than a bearing. a bearing transfers road vibrations and might rattle a bit.

A poly bushings work well even over time, flex and also reduce road vibrations.

I use 1/2" grade 8 on minitruck watts and 5/8" grade 8 on fullsize.

I think that they would work fine.
