I dont see how everything gets lost in shipping, this seems to be a trend.  I am about to order some control arms, but will wait to see how this pans out.  Honestly I can wait for a good product, but getting the run around gets old quick.  This is the same situation that happens with a certain v-rod part on the forums.  This company is building great led tailights, but he takes a long time.  He lets everyone know up front that it will probably take 8 months and he then charges the credit card when the item ships.  You have a tracking number before your card even gets charged.  Guess what?  There is a huge line of people waiting patiently for them who talk nothing but good about him.  I think a policy of charging the card when the item ships is good business, obviously that wouldnt work on one off items.  Just giving my pennies......

Control arm companies using the "lost in shipping" excuse blows my mind.  Ive been shipping basically every day for almost 8 years now, ive never had something get lost in shipping.  This was Barnyards big down fall (false/fake tracking numbers).    If you want people to be happy, start out by not lying.  You may find it gets you a long way.

byc kept giving me fake tracking numbers (whenever he'd actually answer the phone) & i even got to hear the "lost in shipping" 1 or 2 times.  about a week before i was about to order another set from can do (8 1/2 months after i was charged), they magically appeared on my doorstep!  they were pretty good quality, just took forever!

I ship lots of orders though UPS and have NEVER had anything get lost in shipping and if it did its insured.  If your losing that much stuff in shipping I would be looking for a new shipping company.  Instead of lying try telling customers the truth.  I personally would rather you tell me up front that its going to be "X" amount days then get the run around everytime I call about why I don't have it yet.  When I build custom parts I tell the customer that it will be longer than what it really takes me so that way when they get it eariler they are much happier.

I ordered  set for my dually and it took them a lil bit to get their shit straight but I got it all and he was real cool about it the whole time. I was trying my hardest to make it to ///RA and he got them here just in time. Too bad I couldn't hold up my end of the deal.....lol Mine got hung up waiting on bearings and bushings. I think he doesn't keep alot of stock in those bearings and just orders them as needed. He did me right and I'd buy another set from him in a heartbeat. Richie is a pretty cool guy.

Chris, I agree with you completely.   Richie acts like we are supposed to happy for him that he's trying to keep up with companies with 100's of employees when he only has 5.  If you can't keep up, you can't keep up.  It's pretty easy, if you know you aren't going to be able to make and ship an order, don't take the order.  If you do take the order and the person understands the timeframe then don't charge the person in full when you know you won't start on his job for months ahead.  I got tired of the run around I was getting as I have trucks to finish and don't have time to explain to customers what takes so long.  Its now in the hands of credit card company and the half order I recieved is going back.   I wouldn't recommend them to anyone no matter how long you're willing to wait.  The hassle isn't worth it.

Another thing that helps, if a problem arises call them and let them know before they have to call you.  Its just good customer service because they are inthe loop and don't feel like their getting put off if there is a LEGITIMATE problem.

Well Richie to let you kow the owner did know I was making this post because after I made it I called him and told what I had said. And yes you are making him a set of one off's for an isuzu pickup and No we are not the ones who where going to INDY. These arms were ordered back in august and like everybody else said the other box "GOT LOST IN SHIPPING". I would put the stock arms back on it buy he "RICHIE" still has them. He used them for mock up. I have his truck suck in my shop on jack stands and can't do anything else to it until we get these parts. So Richie if you get this please call JEFF DENNISON out of North Carolina and tell him what is going on. THANKS
