Brislands were some beefy air cylinders but I don't know if they're still in business. Just stay away from E.A.I. air cylinders because I helped put some on a mac strut car and they all snapped within 1k miles.

Macphersons are tricky since they turn and they hold up the support for the front end, lots of side pressure on them.  You can run a universal bag on them, but be prepared to cut to sit low.

Hydroholics can help you with your macpherson hydraulic setup (Thanks Rudy).

i have used the easystreet strut bags on a few cars and love them. they give a great ride, easy installation, and great customer service if needed.

I dont think ive seen a true mcpherson cylinder except way back when I was baggin my cadillac. I was tryin to find some because I didnt want to use universal bags. All the ones I found were just like regular cylinders except the had a much thicker shaft. I ran across a site where they were putting air ride on a presidential cadillac limo. They used bags first then ditched them and I believe they modified the strut to hold 2 small cylinders which I thought was cool as hell. ( I just looked for it for 45 min. and cant find it anywhere ) I wanted to do it but broke down and used universals. I hate them.   I know everyones said it already but personally I will never use air on anything again except trucks and full frame cars/suvs. I will be redoing my car with hydros and using what airride parts I can off of it on a suv Im tryin to build.

What is the the purpose of putting it on air?   Ride height will be near stock and laid out will still be higher than a conventional strut/spring ride height.

I had the Brislands cylinder on my avenger and they were great. they were very beefy and great for Macpherson strut cars.I got good lift from them and got down low but in my opinions cylinders ride like garbage and if i had a car i wouldnt use them again.. Last i heard Brislands went out of business. But after seeing all the hype of hydraulics on here the praise from many, if i do a car again, im definitley going with hydraulics. But if you must go with air id suggest strut bags.
