Anybody else HATE cops?

I can see your point campy...its just the way i was raised ... if you steal my stuff theres a pretty good chance you will get shot if i catch you in the act. Call it stupidity or cowboy logic or whatever you want but thats the way i live my life and i'm not asking anybody to be like me either.

I caught somebody trying to break in to my truck about 10 months ago and i was on the phone with the police department while the guy is prying my door lock out. I told them you got 2 minutes to get here or i start shooting...they never showed up. I was standing at my bedroom window with the gun in one hand and the phone in the other. Finally i set the phone down and picked up the mag lite and shined it on him and he took off when he saw the gun.

I guess my question to you would be this...at what point would you call the police...if they will take the $129 battery then they will take the $500 stereo and may even take the entire truck. Is there a dollar limit too their obligation to serve the public?

What exactly would you do if you caught somebody stealing your property?
Would you stop and think...well, its only worth a couple hundred dollars so i will let him take it...maye he needs the money?
I sure wouldnt...let them go get a job and work for it just like i did.

STEALING IS STEALING...regardless of the value of the item.

Everything we have outside of our family is replaceable so why even bother to call when they steal something?

I dont know about everybody else but i go to work so i can have things, not so somebody else can sit on their ass all day and then steal my stuff.

I didn't get to finish my thought. It does suck when your stuff gets stolen it's happened to me. But you got to look at it through the cops eyes. He shouldn't have been a dick about it but what realistic chance do they have of finding a battery, so why waste to much time. And was he a dick from the get go or did he turn into one when you got an attitude. If you see someone stealing your shit bust their ass. But don't get to down on cops they are doing an awful lot with very little and when they can't make something better theyre dicks or stupid.

I agree that alot of their time is wasted needlessly...i sit in the police station all the time and hear people call 911 because they cant find their cat or the neighbor leaves fell off the tree into their yard.

Maybe im just a stupid redneck but would you call the cops if you saw and heard someone rummaging around in your garage? What if your wife or kids were home alone...would you tell them to call 911? What if that person doesnt steal anything? Does that make it ok for the cops to not show up and do their job?

He was a dick from the time he got there...all i wanted was to make a report to give my insurance company and all he wanted to do was write the ticket so the city would get the money out of it.

Last time i checked, most police cars said " to serve and protect" on the side.

Oh, and for the record, If anyone were to ever break into my home, I'd go for my .40, drill em, THEN, I'd call the cops.

i went to college majored is criminal justice, and started the police acad. here in houston and let me tell you most cops are dick heads.. i found it so hard to talk to these guys even though i was in the process of being one of them. finally after going for awhile and talking alot with my family i decided that i would not continue with the acad. i have alot of cop friends(most of them i grew up with) and the longer your a cop the more your attitude changes toward civilians.... the only thing you can do it just take the attitude they give you and try to kill them will kindness because they can f**k your life up if they really want to....sorry just thought id post my thoughts(plus raise my post count, its hard to do that now after our meeting with baha lol:)

yea this goddamn hoda fuckin faggot tryed to run me off the road last night and i drug in his stupid fuckin ass for about 8 miles weavin in and out of the lanes and an off duty deputy was behind all of this and tryed to follow me home till i sto[ped at a stop sign and asked him what his fuckin pob. was and he said i bout killed him when he was 10 cars back dumb son of a bitch said he was sending the county after me i told him to go fuck off and ive yet to have a cop pull me over after i sen bout 10 this morning. im still pisssed thanks guys
