Mine did the same thing after I got water in my tank. follow the line that goes from the fuel pump to the front of the carb. Take that loose and crank it. You should be able to shoot the neighbors cat with it pretty good. If you think that you are getting good pressure from the pump, hook the line back up and crank it over. There is a little hump on the carb where that line goes in. Tap it with a wrench as the truck gets turned over. This tapping is what made mine fire back up after my water incident. Also, does it fire with starting fluid? If it does, then you do have a fuel problem. Does it have the stock carb? If it does, it needs a Weber. Does it still have all of the emissions stuff? If it has a Weber, it won't. If it has the stock carb and doesn't have it, I would stop messing with it. Removing the emissions on a stock carb in a Mazda kills them.
