Check out some of Keef's builds.  He has done several the way he is describing and has good pics.  You want usable suspension travel and geometry at both ride height and when lifted to clear the tires when needed.  IMO its worth the time to go back and redo what you need.  In the end you will be much happier with the finished product.

sounds like your tryin to get around buying drop spindles by doing a bigger z?

I have built about 15 c10 and the only way you would need a 6 inch Z is if the truck wasn't all the way laid out before you started. Cut it out and re-do it, not noly for the fact that it's not right but in that pic you posted, it does not look very safe.

---------------------------------------------Originally posted by 1low68c10so how does that work if my bag gets 7.25 inches of lift up front why would it not be good enough i figure i need at least 5 inches to get wheel out of fender maybe the whole 7 but even if i fully air up front end what is wrong with that im way lost if the firewall is tubbed wheels have turning radius when layed out which shouldnt even be an issue along with steering being fixedhow would i get the frame on the ground if i go with 3 inch z then it would be 3 inches off ground  cuz i needed 6 inches to get frame on the ground i am i right or wrong what happens when i z and i go to lay frame will it please help the whole point is i wanna lay frame front to back 100%---------------------------------------------Nobody is saying your bags wont lift it high enough to turn we are saying once the bag has to lift that high its goin to be high pressure which will be very sitff and ride like a brick as well as the arms will be way past level at ride height(or close) which will cause negative camber when lifted to that point. Just redo the Z man or ur goin to be fighting this thing

Sounds like you guys have very little building experience......since you have basically a 3 page thread and almost every person is saying you Z'd the front frame twice as far as you should have. Not trying to be rude, just saying there have been numerous posts trying to help you and tell you about other problems your going to have later as a result of over-Zing your front frame rails.

just to make it clear, the MAIN purpose of the frame Z is to make the engine cradle level with the frame rails PERIOD. if the truck doesnt lay at that point you need to look at your suspension setup & figure out whats going on to keep it from dropping farther. how about some actual pictures of the suspension setup so we can help you figure out why its not dropping like it should?
