Every car is different. We are going to eventually start working on a top mount that will work for almost any MacPherson strut. Some MacPherson strut cars will require the top mount to have the ability to pivot, and some don't. This one was perfectly verticle and has no camber change. That is one reason I did not run a pivot at the top. Some, like the Mecedes I am doing now are angled and need the angular rotation for up and down travel as well as while turning.

I am working on it. I will take a bunch of pics when I am done.

if you take one of the sleeves that thread onto the cylinder body & cut it like 1/2" tall. you could weld 2 tabs off either side & make it like a big wing nut. i know what your saying about 4" of threads, but a simple "nut" out of parts you already have can't hurt. keep up the good work.

Hydroholics is doin' it to it!

You should have seen Anthony's car. It was covered in air. Then it continued to leak all over the trailer that they had to tow it home with. Then air everywhere in his garage while fixing it. It took forever to clean all the air off of everything. Whats crazy is that my Mazda went and cruised that same cruise, dragged those same streets, and drove home... all by itself. No oil anywhere!!!

Alright, enough Town Car bashing. Let's not turn this into a hate thread. Like me hating all of you. Hydraulics are awesome, you know I think that, but they are not God's gift to the automotive industry. My air FAILED because a line was too close to the exhaust. Now I know the come back to that is that " hydraulic lines don't melt, etc", but that's one of the nice things about hydraulics. Guess how many times I have to pull apart my airbags and rebuild them???????? Exactly. We can do it all day, so let's not. This thread is about a juiced Altima, not a bagged Town Car. My favorite part about the bashing is that it's from my fellow club members. Maybe that's why my car does not have an AON logo on it.  ALSO, I could have driven it home after I put the bandaid on it. AND,,,,,,, I had plenty of air on me after I lost all that was in my air tanks. Try that with Hydraulics, assholes. Anyways, where are the pics of me sweating my ass off trying to get my car off the ground? I'd like to see them...

I like the Altima, I like the Towncar, I like air, and I like juice......but I must say I think the Towncar looks cooler than the Altima...

Why stop the bashing? That's what friends are for. We all know hydraulics are God's gift to the automotive industry!!! I dont have to pull my cylinders apart at all. Brandon's car is going on over 2 years, longer than most people own thier vehicle. Just to make you feel better Anthony... I like your car!  Besides, what would a hydraulics thread be without bashing...
