isn't that one a rolls royce? looks it. its cool but not the style Im going for. wide whites, original wheels, bagged, suicide rear doors with handles moved, and a full sliding rag (mabye). other than that not really sure what else to do with it other than restore and drive. ya know? it is pretty cool though. I was looking at the syspension earlier and that rearend is an odd one, I thought it was a straight axle at first but I flexed the suspension and saw different, guess the dust had disguised the cv boot. exhaust looks to be the main issue as far as stuff in the way of it laying flat but I don't know if it will lay aside from that but it looks close. I do know it will get some crazy lift out back if I put the bags on the bars but I probably won't since I can just use the stock spring pocket. don't really care for speed on this one so I will probably go with 3/8 everything on it and have some adjustable slow downs for the dump valves. one thing is for sure, this car wouldn't be a good one to rail for long, there isn't much there. I may put some titanium blocks under there somewhere for show but that may be it. mabye it would be better if I couldn't lay it out so I don't destroy it railing, ya know? I may just get it down to a 1/2" or so. I guess you guys like the car so far. thanks for all the comments. keep em coming. if anybody has some suggestions let me know and Ill consider them. I found out mb made the older cars with 13's so I may try those to see if they can get me closer to laying without extreme cutting on the car. they have to look good though. Oh and my benz has two two barrel carbs on it, I checked earlier, kind of cool but a pain if they ever need work. they are zenith carbs too.

That's why I said "Roller"  it's slang for Rolls Royce. There is/was a benz like yours at the mechanic shop down the road and it's sitting on the floor so I think with a little reworking of the exhaust you should be good. to go lower than with the stock one. I think those had stock air suspension right? 3/8 should be fine with the slowdows. Def don't drag on the susp or body too much. Drag blocks should be a must.

it should be an IRS,the one we got at the shop is.  on the wheels,i think it would look sick with the factory 14's on a little smaller tire then stock, with a 1.5-2 inch whitewall.

o. ok. yea I don't want to destroy such a hard to find car that will be worth something some day. I will need to keep a spare oil pan around though from what I saw on that other guys benz like mine. (the one that was bare metal)

yea,the pans sit pretty low on the gasoline engine. but to tell ya the truth the 200 series arent very desireable lol, they are everywhere and cheap. the diesel we have we picked up for $400 running, good paint&body and a few small tears on the leather interior. be sure to post some pics when ya get started.
