---------------------------------------------Originally posted by crzyone1013I saw that benz on youtube. I think its for sale now too. I don't really care for the fin tail the older ones had but its still a cool car. how hard was it to bag? did it lay at all? On youtube it looked like it did lay flat but I guess not unless some work was done after this pic. what size bags did ya use? I want it to ride like stock or better and lay out or close to it but I prefer flat out.--------------------------------------------- It probably was on youtube, I'm not sure though. I basically just built bag cups. It had RE5 bags all around, because that's what they brought me. All I did was the labor, they wired and plumbed it, and bought the parts. With a little more cutting up front you could fit an RE6, and out back an RE6 would just bolt in. I basically just plated the lower arms front and rear, and built cups for the top. It doesn't lay, it just gets close. The front crossmember is like an inch off the ground, and the exhaust was on the ground. If the arms where stepped it could lay, but the arms hit the frame where it's at. The back is like 3 inches from laying. The axle is on the frame. They didn't want to pay to do anything more than cups. But if it was notched, and a small amoutn of floor work it would have laid flat. The guys where odd to me. They seemed really into it, but they where really cheap. Later I found out why. They told me they had about $4k in the car after I worked on it, including the purchase. They where trying to sell it on CL for $11k OBO. Last I saw they had it down to $8K. It rode okay. They where too cheap to buy more than 2 manifold valves, so it had a ton of body roll and it felt really sloppy. But if you drove it really low it was soft enough. I've seen them around town a few times, it's always donked out.
