---------------------------------------------Originally posted by BOOOGHAR---------------------------------------------Originally posted by tre5It actually sucks to have the time to post these pics. I wish I had a rear axle!!!!! ---------------------------------------------im curious about the cylinder and hows it lubricated with the up and down motion and what about debris collecting on the top of the doughnut when the cylinder is compressed--------------------------------------------- This setup is a coil under therefore the cylinder won't be moving in this application.

The cylinder will not be moving during suspension travel because there will be no accumulators up front. While it is lifting and lowering it will be lubricated just like every other hydraulic cylinder in the world... with hydraulic oil!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Debris could collect in the top of the CUP, but there will be no debris collecting in the doughnut. Debris collecting in the cup is not a concern. Have you ever seen hydraulics on something like a, ummm I don't know???? a 64 Impala??? This is how most "lowriders" are done. It's called a coil under.

Awe Jeremy, don't be a dick now. You're frightening all the children away. It's looking really good, I might come by when I'm not working and take a look. Damn those are some thick rubbers. You could hop on those things.

Sorry if I was too mean, but debris in the cup? Come on. It started right in the begining when some one chimed in and thought I misspelled hydraulics. It 's like everytime I post pics someone has something to say, like they are looking for whatever they can find wrong. Whether it be the spelling of hydraulics, thinking the cylinder is going to bend, or debris in the cup.Now I appreciate some comments, like the suggestion to gusset the crossmember around the exhaust cutout or to turn the wire plug 90 degrees. You know constructive critisim? I can appreciate that for sure.Sorry if I am an internet tough guy sometimes, I try not to be... I just get frustrated sometimes, like everyone else.

I don't know anything, I just build stuff. But I like to watch your posts about them because I feel like I am learning something. Even though I still probably couldn't sit down and install a hydraulic system.
