i'll probably be asking some questions about the build since i'm bagging mine, but my engine is going in the rear of the truck so alot of stuff will be different.  but i have 2 questions for you if you don't mind tre5  how much did you have to cut out of the fire wall to clear the tires,  i'm not going to be running big rims, i'm doing smoothies, and how far below the rear side windows did you have to cut to clear the tires too?

---------------------------------------------Originally posted by TwistedMinisI don't know anything, I just build stuff. But I like to watch your posts about them because I feel like I am learning something. Even though I still probably couldn't sit down and install a hydraulic system.---------------------------------------------You may not know hydraulics, but I know you know your stuff!!!

To answer your questions... how much you clearance the firewall will depend on what size tires you will be running. I have heard that you can fit up to a 255/30R22 without cutting into the firewall...just a little hammer time. I am making room for a 275/30R24 so I had to clearance back for those. Basically what I did was bump the travel all the way up with just the spindle on and take the tape measure and mark the radius on the side of the firewall, then transfer the marks to the front of the firewall and came in towards the center 8.5". Same goes with the rear... depends on what size tire you are going to run. I am all the way to the window.

Oh good.  It has been about a week since updates.  I thought you had forgot this thing was in your garage.

rear 4 link is done. I designed it keeping the floor in mind. The lower links are triangulated and the uppers are straight. The pinion angle moves perfectly. The wheel does move just under 1" total forward and backward throughout the travel, but that is to be expected with the short upper links. What do you think? I took pics of a bunch of angles for you pic whores...
