97 chevy 3500 6.5 diesel exhaust

im getting a diesel as a daily in the coming week. just waiting on the check to get in. anyways....this truck needs new exhaust. so what do ya'll recommend? what brands? pros & cons to each. any helpful info would be great. the truck now has no mufflers/cat and is split to dual exhaust. not true dual exhaust but from 1 to 2. ive heard diesels need single exhaust with a certain diameter pipe to get optimal performance. true? BS? lemme know.

From my experience w/ diesels......bigger is better.

yeah, they use single exhaust cause it is turbo, unless it is a twin turbo then some use dual exhaust but bout the best i've heard is Banks Performance plus they make a shit load of performance parts too.

i've got a 95 daily 6.5L silverado. I've found alot of helpful info at:  www.dieselplace.com  Not quite sure about the exhaust as i need to get a new one for my truck (it fell off a while back and just havent put anything on.)

i heard some what bigger is better but too big is just uneccisary (god i cant spell)

call your local exhaust shop that does 4 in and have them go all the way back no muffler needed should be cheaper for you
