the 4.3 is the vortec v6, i think u mean 5.3 which came starting in and around 99-00 chevy. this motor is the change over from the 350 5.7 L, the 4.8 motor is the change over from the 5.0 L.   It has a little smaller displacement but  I think it is the same size as the 350. hope this hlps out.   I did a quick search this may you out.  I hve nvr heard of chevy making a 4.3 v8 I could be wrong.Silverado - SpecsGet a price quote on a 2004 Chevy SilveradoCompare free price quotes from the leading online services. tuckinlugs06   +1y

So if ur mr genuis know it all about the sbc and exactly how to put a sbc into a yota (bolt in motor mounts and wiring but that all come with the motor out of the donor truck) Then why the fuck are u on here wasting everyone elses time posting stupid ?s u know the answers to Asshole!!!!!!!!!!!
bodybag   +1y

just make your own mounts! if the truck is body dropped you either get a dry sump pan or section it. which would not be the best thing. i raised me motor till the pan was a inch from my crossmember and thats where its gonna stay. its alot of work but worth it in the end
