---------------------------------------------Originally posted by TheRimShopfirst off, i have dealt with wheel pros for 10 plus years and have never had a problem.  FROM KMC WARRANTY PAGE : "KMC WHEELS warrants to the original retail purchaser that wheels manufactured by KMC WHEELS will be free from structural failure, under normal and intended use, as long as the original retail purchaser owns the product."   WHICH IS WHY A RECEIPT IS NEEDED, TO PROVE YOU BOUGHT THE WHEELS FROM THEM.  you sound like you are just on here trying to bash someone and cry because you didnt get your way. If you called them with that same attitude, i can see why you didnt get any help. And going back to what you had claimed, NO WHERE ON KMC WEBSITE IS A LIFETIME WARRANTY IMPLIED OR GIVEN.  So next time you want to bash someone, please have your facts straight.  Your post probably should have read something like this " Hey guys, I have a set of KMC Badlands and I am having a warranty issue with pitting. Unfortunately I lost my receipt and without this, KMC can't do anything for me due to their warranty policy. Does anyone have any suggestions ? Thanks Guys! " ---------------------------------------------My post won't read like that because the issue is not pitting.  I would surely hope the chrome is not the element that is to separate the air positive pressure volume of air between the tire and rim and the ambient pressure around it.  The issue is that the wheels have developed pinholes along the inside of the wheel, next to center which if spray with soapy water- foams up-  creating a flat tire every 4 to 6 hrs.Whether I bought the wheels or bought the truck with the wheels on it (latter of the two) if they have a lifetime structural warranty- they should stand by it.  This is also a safety issue...............   and the attitude is purely a reflection that of Wheelpros. Again- I read the fact they want you to have the original receipt- but if they really stood behind their product, they would simply replace the two wheels that have a manufactured structural defect. Thanks Guys!

Those pin holes could have formed from everyday use of a wheel with a defect, be it bad machining, a bad casting improper heat treating..theres a whole list of things that can go wrong with metal......continued use of the wheel could lead to catastrophic failure...in other words he could be doing 70 down the freeway and the wheel break in half...If I was mgmnt at KMC I would be all over replacing the wheels...better to replace 2-4 wheels than a lawsuit for a wreck or worse..loss of a life...I dont care if its the original owner or not...Structural problems with wheels should be dealt with regardless...now if it was a chrome peeling issue I can see the need for a receipt..but not for something such as this...

---------------------------------------------Originally posted by gumsackMan what is wrong with some of you guys stop always shit talking about not getting your way these guys are doing there job and that is it.I have never seem a rim theat just formed a hole from sitting there.so there had to be some form of abuse to them.i just cant see how some of you get so pissie when it comes to a company not giving you what you want.An i cant stand poor ass people that say sue them what the hell for a guy that abuses his truck or another guy that never washes his rims until they start to oxides and the crome comes off because he doesnt know how to take care of them<why the hell would anyone say aw just sue them it people like this bullshit that is jacking the price of things up just suk it up and buy new friken wheels An also the reason why they dont just say yeah bring them in because why r they going to fit the bill for you mistake? uh its not there fault that u cracked the wheel or put a pin hole in it. i would agree with it if you said you have had them a week and it just came around with the issue but the guys at wheel pros are not to blam you are for not taking care of you shit dude same with you on your pitted wheels and shit keep your damn reciepts to then no one would hear anyone bitching about there damn wheels other than people saying they dont have to take care of them.SO GROW THE HELL UP AND BE A MAN DONT BLAM OTHERS FOR YOUR MESS UPS AND JUST GO BUY SOME NEW WHEELS DAMN SOME OF YOUI GUYS PISS ME OFF. ---------------------------------------------1st off i spoke to the "employee" who sold me the rims, who knew i bought them there and actually bought my other rims and tires from me, they had me in the computer with my truck they installed on and had my name as ORIGINAL purchase...secondly suck it up and buy new wheels??? what the fvck are you on bro????i paid 1800 bux and kept my shit garaged anfd the chrome started peeling on a rim that was less then 2 months old, one wheel, thats what i asked for in return one wheel, or some sort of refinish/chome/resurface.  i dont know bout u but for me to fork out almost 2 g's was a struggle i am apparently not made out of cash like you seem to be, these guys sayin they never had a problem..good im glkad u didnt get fvcked by these scrotums, but for the rest of the people with a gripe, seems as if this company needs top support the "warrenty" issue a little stronger, when people hear alot of dudes got a prob with shit they stay away, take for example air zenith...lots of problems BUT....IMMEDIETLY  RECTIFIED AND RESEARCHED AND REDEVELOPED....PROBLEM  solved and they still have an outstanding reputation, product wise and customer service wise, this guy who bought the truck with the rims is probably beat, but that is the breaks, in my industry if i put a windshield in your car its warrenty lasts as long as you own it if u sell it to yuor cousin...no more warrenty and i see where they stand on that issue...but i was just screwed on a technicality. i contacted a friend in the industry made some calls and i got a wheel for next to nothing and a promise......never again. wont buy from these guys ever. but i also live 3 thousand miles from there now so that solves that.

if you buya car thats 2 years old and still has the reminder of its warranty its still covered. at least that was my experenice with my dakota. same goes for recalls on products. dont need the receipt, just need the product. i think wheelpros should stand up and take care of the guy. even if he wouldnt win a lawsuit, it'll cost them a helluva lot more thena couple rims.

I think the big problem is no wheel is perfect. I feel bad that you guys have had problems.  Most of the wheel warranty's are structual. Pinholes developing should fall under that. Which business did you buy the wheels from? Was it Discount? Let me know. I am currently dealing with them through my company and my show this weekend. Maybe I can help you out....

they would stand by the lifetime warranty if you had a receipt, and it may be structural but if something happened and you sued kmc there just gonna turn it to the manufacturer in china since there the one that made it.  believe me i used to work for a wheel company that used the same manufacturer, and have seen it a a lot.

I own a set of 18" Badlands on my F-250 and ordered a set of 22" kmc Novas today.  I hope I have no problems.
