Hey I think that idea is great! Couple of questions, what gauge sheetmetal did they use and do you have any pictures with the box filled with the ac components? I have been looking at a few different designs and I feel like this is one of the best I have seen. Thanks

awesome penis on the side lol. why is the liquid nails crossed out in the first pic? lol

i believe it was 12 gauge or 14 gauge but dont quote me on that.  and the evaporator coil is out of a 98 honda civic so the lines from the high and low side will have to be adapted, but i have the lines for the coil thats in there now, and my factory lines, so i have to either find someone to adapt the lines with a concentric welded reducer from 3/4 to 7/16" or make new ones and flare em outta copper.

and james the liquid nail is because none was needed to seal up the box, he welded it all up and grinded is smoothe, the only thing we used was ac duct sealer for the blower motor and on the firewall

well heres the finished product guys, well, almost finished lol went and drove it and it drove cool, but not cold, blew cold when it would sit still like the compressor would only kick on when sitting, so imma take it to the ac shop and pull a vaccum on it and recharge it and see what it does.

I wish it would be easy to keep a factory style a/c on bigger wheels, but vintage air is possibly the only solution...

yeah thats why i only did 18s, its not my personal preference for a 20 or 22 up front, besides, being bd with ac is nice...

i told you to call me and i would chargethe a/c for you

the ac is charged you dummy lol i charged it at home but didnt pull the vacuum so imma take it to our shop to pull a 10 minute vacuum and recharge it and throw some dye in there also to check for leaks
