alrighty then so the truck isnt finished, i appreciate the concern about the tabs being to small on the bottom arms, im guessing those were the focus since the upper arm is not bearing a load at all, im gonna go with what i know and keep the tabs you see there, they were not used to cut a corner as someone mentioned, no corners are being cut, the tabs were chosen, we werent out of money and had to use a smaller tab or something lol. again the suspension is not finished, bracing, design and finished brackets are not yet displayed so once i post pics of the chassis on the ground and off the table we can discuss the things that someone might think is wrong with it. but until that point lets just assume that any questions or criticisms you may have will be answered and taken care of once the project is done. thanks for the comments and criticisms. enjoy the pics.
and for those concerned about the lift, the truck needs to lift 4 inches to have no problems turning, with 4 inches of lift the truck clears the fender body line and has complete steering. here are some pics of it layed out and the turning radius it does have laid out, might i add, it is plenty to do a 3 point turn on a street layed out and be on my way. we didnt want the wheels to be sucked in to far you couldnt see them. it was more of an issue for us to place them in the right place so they looked good on the outside of the truck rather than being able to turn layed out, ad ride height, 4 inches btw, the wheels turn completely. also keep in mind once the arms are aligned this radius might change slightly but not by much, probably not a noticable difference at all. thanks
