this thing is awesome..but one question..why are there vents in the wheel well piece? you would think especially on a daily driver you would want the wheel well sealed off from the door jamb..sorry if i missed this already

There's a piece of metal behind the mesh that blocks it off and seals everything up. It's also there to where you can't see through to all of the ugly hinges and stuff.

No, it's not getting painted like the rendering, that was one of the choices, but that's not close to what it will be. To me that one looks like something that would be towed behind a million dollar motorhome.

No, it's not going back to SEMA this year. We're going to debut it in January at the Grand National Roadster Show in Pomona and do a couple indoor shows with it.

Thanks for the compliments!

We made up an alternator cover instead of painting or polishing the alternator itself. I think it blends well with the blower and once finished will look more OEM in appearance then a polished alternator.

You can follow some daily updates on our facebook page, we also have giveaways and trivia often so there's a good chance you can win something too: http://www.facebook.com/pages/Pacific-Coast-Customs/106613129383261

Ya, without spending millions of dollars, I don't think anyone nails the detail work better than Pacific Coast Customs.

Thanks guys!

Thanks Robert, I'd like to see what we're capable of with millions of dollars though! If we got our hands on a CNC machine we'd be doing really good! It's tough farming work out to other's and then you never get what you're looking for in return or it just never gets done and the ball gets dropped. The hardest part in the industry is finding good people to work with to get what you want.

With that said here we have our inner fender pretty much finished up! The aluminum box is the fuse box cover and is pretty easy to access with 3 screws. Nothings going to be as easy to work on as it was from the factory but we're trying to do what we can to make it easy to work on in the future. We're also going to build a matching "dummy" bottle for this side to match the coolant bottle on the other side.
