---------------------------------------------Originally posted by TwistedMinisA club should be a family. I cant count the times we have helped each other fix things on road trips. Josh is our king of freeway fixes.  There have also been countless nights spent working on vehicles the day before the show to get it ready, working early into the morning. I have so much fun when we get our whole club together, Nor Cal and So Cal. There just isn't a better time IMO.---------------------------------------------LOL, it probably has to do with dealing with junk delivery trucks that always break down. I guess I got paractice. And about a club, I think that this entire niche or whatever it is should be one big club. If you see a broke down minitrucker you should stop no matter who you are and see if you could help. You never know when it could be the other way around. For example when my cadillac lost a wheel in Downtown Sacramento on the freeway, NOBODY stopped to see if I needed help or offer thier cellphone(mine was dead), and the car was in the middle of four lanes taking up two lanes, all i got was dirty looks like i did this chit on purpose. 30 minutes later a Highway patrol finally showed up and tried to push the cadillac without the rear wheel, that was funny.

---------------------------------------------Originally posted by slamrocthis is my first post but i cant not comment on this.. to me a club means family i was a member of 2 live miniz for over 10 years. and when we all decided to close up shop we never stopped being friends. its been over 10 years since I've been in the minitruckin scene or in a club, but all but a few of us are to this day best friends!! I'm starting to get back in the scene now.. my 15 year old son is looked at me and said "dad.. I'm a minitrucker"!!  so while talking to the old pres. i told him he said he wanted a 1st gen S10 and he said, do you have a truck? i told him not yet and he said good then he gave him a 83 s10 that belonged to a member that passed away while building it over 14 years ago!! I totally forgot he had the truck in storage all this time. so as we start on the journey of rebuilding this truck together i hope that he has as much fun as i had "back in the day"  this is the truck were starting with...   ---------------------------------------------thats really cool to complete a past members tuck. the truck I have belonged to a member that past away the night before he got his window.have fun with your son with the build.
