I had a photo I took get used in an ad for a magazine once, since the mag used the photo in a feature article, the company had permission to use photo since it was owned by said magazine

so what if the photos were cleared for release yet would that change the situation of  if it should be used or not

i cant type for shit i meant not cleared to be released

If there isn't a release and it's from a shoot not a show then they shouldn't be allowed to use it. Couto typing whats the world coming to?

Well from previous expirence my dad was hopping his car at a car show. The image from the car hopping appeared in Lowrider Magazine, a few months later the image was tinted, enlarged,  rotated, and was used to promote a toy hopping car. Anyways. a lawyer told him that once an image is used for any public views, web sites, magazines, forums it becomes public use. It can be used in anything. i can take that pic of your blue chevy and make an ad in a magazine and all you can do is be flattered.. Pics inclosed

ya the ones in the picture i posted are detatas but he has coddingtons

yes the wheels in the photo of my truck are detats and were given to me through cary from if customs.they were on the truck for the entire year and for the ssm photo shoot that has'nt been seen yet. i think its just odd that that particular photo would show up in an ad before it was even printed for the photo shoot. by the way i got alot of calls from people asking i i even run ultra wheels and the answer is not yet.
