so we made a temple today for the control arms, and the new hub, and cycled the suspension.Layed out on a 27.75 tire I will only have 3 degrees of camber. At 10 inches of lift (Tire out of fender), I will only have 1 degree of negative camber. Both my upper and lower control arms are adjustable so we can get the scrub line as close as 2 inches to the center of the tire with this spindle incline. It is almost 1.5 inches closer than stock.I am finally happy with the design and I am going to start machining the centers in order to mount the hubs.

ok here is our progress so far. This is an 8 inch solid steel circle by 4 inches machined down. i will be mounting the hub bearing assembly on the smaller circle. The tolerance was actually so tight that i had to drill the small center hole to release the pressure. We also taped the hole so a plug or a grease fitting can be installed. we still have a lot of machining to do, but the stock mitshu caliper bracket will bolt to the outer circle. It is pretty thick right now because we are going to counter sink all the bolts, we havent worked on it much because of the holidays but i hope to have the center done in the next few days and will post more pics then, but here is the work as of 2pm today.

Edited: 5/26/2010 11:26:57 PM by DisseveredCustomsEdited: 5/26/2010 11:25:13 PM by DisseveredCustomswell it has been a while since I have posted any progress on this thread because I have been busy tryin to get all the metal work on the body done. After about 8 months of hard work this is what I have accomplished    After    coming back from showfest I wanted to start back on the front suspension. So I gutted the front end, leveled the truk out on a 4 by 6 sheet of metal (thanks tre5 customs for the idea) and started to mock-up and jig the front end  this is a shoot of the truck .75  from laying pinch welds  here is the pic of the massive 27.75 inch tall 235/30/22 tire under the tubs layed out. So I have decided that I am goin to completely rebuild the front suspension from the firewall forward ( then it will be a full frame build) in order to fix all the issues I am having with the current front set-up . So I will be posting progress pics every day I work on it so I hope you guys stay tuned!!
