legal help

i have a few questions. i got caught with my ass too low. my lic plate was less than 12" from the ground. cvc 5201. on the ticket it was marked as  non correctable. i had asked a california highway patrol if this is correctable and he said it was and signed the ticket off . but i am not getting anything in the mail to pay my fine or anything. On the ticket i do have a court date. should i just go in on my court date, plead not guilty and show them the ticket or what should i do. i really dont want to miss work because of this bs.  

another thing.... the cop asked if i was bagged. and of course me being a scared ass i said yeah. but that was after he gave me the ticket. he has pulled me over before. i dont want him to send me to a ref station and have my shit destroyed since i cut my frame. so i really dont want to piss him off if i dont have to. i am willing to pay the fine if it keeps him happy.

If bags isn't on the ticket then it doesn't matter. If the due date is approaching and you haven't received paperwork then head to the courthouse and ask  one of the people behind the counter. If the ticket was signed off show the person and see if the fine will be dropped to fix it level. If it won't take it to court and explain the issue to the judge and you have corrected the problem.    Main thing. If you are just written up for rear plate just stick to talking about the rear plate. If the judge asked how did you fix it. You corrected the height of the rear end.     

yeah i was going to say i just removed my lowering blocks and changed my shocks. crap. i hate the courthouse. its always super packed and i will have to ask for a day off work. thanks.

so ya'll cant have bagged trucks in cali? wtf is that about? Semi's, factory caddys etc have bags. I wish you luck on your court house trip.

you can always bring a point of the fact that the factory hieght of a honda crx's plate is only like 11.5 inches from the ground and i wanna say the cube is under 12 inches as well

thats a compelling arguement, too bad they dont care!    I think in their eyes a cadillac went through millions of dollar of engineering and a research. and our trucks are just some shit hacked together by some dumbass kid in his driveway.   I dont know exactly about cali but i know in Utah it says right in the inspection book You cannot replace any spring with an airbag.

It's not that you have adjustability, it's that the adjustable suspension is the primary suspension. If you removed your bags, would you have a suspension? nope. Smae thing with Juice. If your cylinders failed, that would be bad. If a semi truck or caddy's bag exploded, or had no air, it would just be lower and/or have a crappier ride. Helper bags, or leveling systems are fine in CA, just not primary adjustable suspensions. Pretty much what Mikey said... don't  replace a spring with an airbag. Haha A day off to go to court is not bad compared to what else could happen, Pootus. Keep that in mind and stay positive.  

That sucks... here in NY the cops pull behind you and over the loud speaker, they ask you to hit some switches...  But thats probably because we dont have half as much dropped rides in NY as you guys do.
