I use "quick mix sheets" or "clean mix sheets" (same shit, different name lol)They have a strap on the back of the board that goes around your hand which makes mixing easy,....and when your done you just tear off the page and start fresh. The only thing you need to clean is your spreader.....and you should try and clean that as soon as your finished  applying the body filler

hit it with the spreader then clean off anything else with acetone and a scotch brite or old rag

I always use a rag with some lacquer thinner....if you use scotch brite it will only help the body filler stick even better next time lol

at work we use plexi glass and scrape them off with razor blades soon as were doin spreading the filler. we also clean off the spreaders that way or just wait untill the filler gets hard and flex the spreader some and the filler pops right off. when the filler beings to build up too much on the plexi glass we just use a 10'' griding disc on a air grinder and clean the plexi off

piece of aluminum, or an evercoat flexible plastic board. Made of the same plastic that spreaders are made of so nothing sticks. brian's right too, don't use a scotch brite, only rags and thinner or acetone before it hardens. If it gets hard, scrape it off with a putty knife, razor blade, or just flex your spreader/board to get it to crack off. The more scratches and grooves from scotchbrite, razor etc... you have in it. the Bondo will stick better. \ I don't like using fiberous boards like cardboard or paper sheets... That's just me tho.
