piece of aluminum, or an evercoat flexible plastic board. Made of the same plastic that spreaders are made of so nothing sticks. brian's right too, don't use a scotch brite, only rags and thinner or acetone before it hardens. If it gets hard, scrape it off with a putty knife, razor blade, or just flex your spreader/board to get it to crack off. The more scratches and grooves from scotchbrite, razor etc... you have in it. the Bondo will stick better. \ I don't like using fiberous boards like cardboard or paper sheets... That's just me tho.
