whitest of white paint?

I have a 58 GMC that I am looking to get painted white - not just any white though. I really want the white to be blinding white, no pearls - but maybe a little metallic? Does anyone know what paint I should be looking for to achieve a super clean, bright white paint color?

BMW Alpine White is a pure white color, the BMW paint code is 300

GM Summit white is really White also.

no such thing as a metallic white the only way to do it would be to spray a layer of flake over the white or make it a 3 stage and do a pearl but id suggest looking threw some chip books at your paint store and find the white you want

.   ..what he said up above.   GM white is white.   honestly a little blue in the white makes it apear whiter then white.   but over all the best white, or cleanest white, would be straight toner.   if your looking for a bit of sparkle, then you will be spraying pearl over it.   flake leaves nasty dark spots the look like dirt.   id usggest the late model pearl white that cadiilac uses.  real nice.  thats what is on the bottom of my colarado.. 

I used HOK Sno-White Pearl (which looks ALOT like the Caddy pearl) with white Ice Pearl over it, and it turned out great.  The Ice Pearl since it was white on white gave a blinding sparkle in the sun.  Dave MattinglyLatest Craze
