not to derail this but I havent talked with ben in a while so whats he doing with the crew cab did he put a new engine in it or what

yeah, he put a new engine in it and it was supposed to be sold last week but the dude crawfished so he's still got it.

So went to All Star and had a blast, they made me drive it in (which was pretty awesome since it made it, here is what it looked like at the show:





so now it's at Moonlight Alley getting the frame unfucked, motor unfucked, gauges hooked up, battery rerelocated (back under the hood, lol), floor panels and holes welded up, seats bolted in, and rear fittings redone so they don't hit the tires at full lock. Basically, everything she needs to be driveable and safe. All the custom work will be done later, i just want to be able to actually drive it for a while. Heath said if i'll sand it, let him prime it, then sand it again, he'll make everything one color. I will probably go that route just because it looks like it's going to be a loooooooooooooooooooooong time before it's finished and show quality. Not giving up!!

Man, I don't know if I could have stuck with that truck after all you've been through with it. Props to you. Hope you are able to cruise it soon, it'll all be worth it.

Well, Heath called tonight. The good news is the coolant temp sensor i got for it today made the motor run much better; the bad news is i need a new motor. That's another $700 i can add to the running total. Shit a brick and fuck me with it.

Cookie, it has a really bad knock on the bottom, the mech said it's done, but luckily he has either a TBI 350 or 5.7 Vortec he can sell me for $700, looks like i gotta pawn my guns to get money. And it's a really good chance that i'll get divorced because of this fucking truck, but hopefully it'll all be worth it some day....

that really blows I'd run some like 180w in it untill she day lighted the pan. that way you can say you got some of your money out of it being a crowd pleaser
