i don't have to, i'm just burnt out. Considering it was supposed to be completely done in April of 2010, and it's never even seen the road yet. I don't have a shop, or time, or money anymore to get it roadworthy. I just want something i can drive. I've had a bagged vehicle for the last 8 years, and i've got to drive one about 3 months out of that time. I'm too old. Since i got the yellow burb, i've had another kid and had to take a $1700/month pay cut to keep my job. I've been working on it every other night until 2 or 3am, taking a shower, going to bed at 4:30 or so, and getting up at 7 to get the kids ready for daycare, and not really seeing any major progress. I'll probably change my mind again, but if the right trade comes along, i'm gonna jump on it.

hopefully you'll see pics of it soon, Nick. I just bought a lift for my buddy's shop for work, and he said he'd also trade me custom work on the burb for bitch work on his caddy, which i'm happy to do. I really think if i can actually drive it around, i'll be much less inclined to trade it off. And with my buddy doing the work, it'll start looking different and i know the work's being done right.

ok, i was showing it to a buddy of mine tonight and i noticed that the front driver's side frame horn (which wasn't raised when the bodydrop was done, so the bumper sits about 3 1/2" lower than it should, front and back) was sitting about 2" lower than the passenger frame horn. My son accidentally bumped up the driver's front bag a bit, and i noticed that the gap between the fender and door straightened out. Then i notice that it looks like the drivers side shock has a cut in it. Then my buddy notices that where the 2x4 frame meets the stock horn is not boxed in, only held on by one weld stitch. He starts messing with the shock to see if the end had been cut, and it falls apart. The shock on the truck that has never been on the road has broken off at the lower mount point. This brings the total of brand new parts that have broken/don't work even though the truck has never been on the fucking road to 6. The one thing i think Gavin did ok (the frame) turns out to be almost as fucked as the rest of the truck. Someone shoot me before i shoot myself.

FUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
