Thursday is finally here.. I took Friday off for a much needed 3 day weekend of truck time. I got my battery relocated and wired in my switchbox and valves last night. This weekend I'll be installing my freshly narrowed Toyota axle, the sexy lookin' watts link from Dallas Hotrod Parts and I'll be welding in the upper bag brackets and installing the bags. I don't have the compressors just yet (will be running dual Viair 444's) but I will be able to air the truck up and down.

I got a friggin letter taped to my windshield last night from the city. Apparently they FINALLY tagged my truck as a junk vehicle. Gay. Oh well, it'll be mobile by this weekend, and I'll have my "inspection sticker" done.

I will be tacking in my front tubs tonight, and after this weekend all I need is to adapt the front brake lines, get my driveshaft pieces mated, and run my temporary exhaust...

And yes I said 'temporary'. I have a 350 with a 700r going in soon..

A 720 on 22's and a V8? I just 'had' to :)

Did the wilwood pedal and brake cylinder set-up from JEGS? I need to do this for my hilux and wanted to see if it all came as a kit, or if i needed to order it seperate? Thanks!

Summit, pretty decent price too. A tad over a 100 for the front set.

Southwest Speed, or you can get the Wilwood. Same thing, different name and price. They have a brake and a brake/clutch combo. It runs seperate front and rear boosters. Just size the master cylinders correctly. Check the bore size of your clutch slave cylinder for the correct one for your truck. I had to build all the bracketry for mine to work. I also had to drop my steering column down and made new mounting spots for it. Luckily it is a tilt wheel and I'm not a big guy. So you cant really even tell it's been moved much.

Here are a few pics I took of the work we did this weekend.. I'll have more this week, still reworking some things.

Installed the freshly narrowed axle..

Dallas Hotrod Parts Watts link..

Assembled..

Gas door no more..

Still have to mount the bed, put on my chrome pieces on the wheels and do some other stuff, but you get the idea..

Also, still reworking a few things here and there but I think it's starting to come together..

That's all for now guys. As always, I'm open to suggestions, comments and ideas.

Just need to get the front bag mounts on and, mount my compressors and get the driveshaft made..
