They fit the pre-tacoma years. I have never used them on the body style previous to that (like the 87ish years), but I am pretty sure they have the same flange. And like I said, they use rotors and caliper readily available at any parts store. The calipers need one nub ground off, but no big deal.

Thanks for the offer but I make almost all my own stuff. I already know about the rotors and calipers, just havent had time yet to install them.

As for an update: The machine shop just called and said they will have my rear end done by Friday. And, it's only gonna cost me $450 for having it narrowed. I had them shorten it 6 inches on pinion center since the pinion actually fairs to the right roughly 3 inches. Almost there, can't wait!

Well, bad news..

some money I was expecting didn't come. Money with which I was going to use to finish up the 720 in time for Lafayette. So I am going to have to reschedule the debut until Tex-Mex. Which is ok because it gives me a little extra time to work the kinks out on everything and do a few extra things before I show it. I hate rushing anything, especially this build. So sorry to say I will not be taking the truck to Bayou. I will however be driving this bitch up to Tex-Mex, screw the trailer!

Also, fun story..

I managed to kill my new phone, an HTC Evo. Actually the 720 ate it.. I had the hood up and set my phone down near the radiator cap on top of the core support (right where the latch goes through) as I usually do so that I can get to the ohone if it rings, and its out of harms way... As I was letting the truck down on the jack, I let it down a little too fast, the frame hit the concrete, the hood jumped off the prop and slammed down.. shoving the hood latch through my Evo screen. Awesome.

Anyway, guess I'll be seeing you guys at Tex-Mex! Stay tuned for some more updates after this weekend.

Just for the hell of it, I cheated a little and photoshopped in some tint and the front wheels..

I wish I could post pics of the work I did this weekend, but my new phone hasn't come yet and I can't find my camera anywhere.. I did post some I had before the whole 'hood through the phone' trick.

So, this weekend (aside from spending Saturday down on Lower Greenville for St. Patty's day, which was a cluster fuck of epic failure due to all the drunk retards and cops everywhere you looked..) I managed to get my tires for the front wheels, got my front frame notched for lower control arm travel, got all my brake parts painted and installed, finished plumbing the valves, started running my control wiring, relocated my battery, and trimmed all the metal on the firewall for the 22's in the front. So needless to say the front is just waiting on the upper bag brackets and the acual bags. I am picking up my watts link from Dallas Hotrod Parts this week and my axle is almost done getting narrowed at ET Automotive, should be ready this Friday. Since I already took off this Friday from work and not attending Bayou, I'm committing myself to having the rear end installed, watts link, bags, plumbing and controls done over the weekend..

Fabricated a new battery tray out of some angle we had..

Painting the Yota calipers..

Cut the factory wheel wells out, getting ready to tub the firewall for them big ol' 22x7.5's

Painted the calipers, spindles and the battery holder I made..

Yeah, I probably would've chosen something a little more rare if I'd have known there were so many 720's in the scene being built at the same time. But screw it.. we can start our own little 720 club! lol

Glad to see so many good looking builds, keeps me pushing myself further with my own build. Gotta try to stay ahead. Just so damn hard cause there are a lot of damn fine ones I'm seeing in the works!
