I have been driving this truck around for a while now, but it's actually Mike Baldwin's truck that he was nice enough to let me drive while I was working on my F150. It's about time I get around to working on it, so here goes. Plans are to make it lay frame on the 24" Peterbuilts already on it. I will be installing some Michigan Metal Works control arms and converting to the fleet side spindles and brakes. The rear will be getting a 3 link suspension and some Firestone 2107 bags over the axle for plenty of towing capacity to haul around his Mitsubishi. I want to give a shout out to Todd at Lowboy for helping me with some pointers on narrowing the rear axle. I have been collecting parts for the last couple months and finally got about 3 hours in on it today. Full speed from here till the finish line! The interior is also getting done right now, it's over with Todd Jubert at The Interior Shop. Here's the truck stock +the 24's...A bunch of parts...I got the bed off and unbolted everything...Then I marked the center line of the axle and measured for the notches...Last for the day, I made up some 2X4X.188 notches. I plan on welding on some overlays for some extra strength...
