Plus Lock was saying he didnt want to do anymore townastys so this is great news for everyone still looking to get some/something simular.

I don't think it was that he didn't want to do them, it sounded like alcoa was discontinuing that particular style of wheel.

Oooh...Drag's got street cred.

Yeah, Lock told me if I wanted a set of Townasty wheels, it could be 7 to 10 weeks wait. Thats why I was asking this guy what kind of turn around am I looking at...? And wondering if he had a website or something..? Only cause I am being cautious about handing over my wheel money man...

Yeah, Drag dont have time for duallies anymore....he is too busy rubbing elbows w/ guys driving big rigs now. :D:D

Not trying to take any business from gulf coast. Please dnt take it that way. Just simply stating that it was the same setup. I dont thing trevor really wants to deal with the TowNasty's anyways because of the polishing and milling involved.

Dragnasty, I think we are OK with another. I'm not offended or mad. RED's in Miami has some cool stuff. It doesn't suprise me they started a similiar set up long ago. However, I've never seen a Townasty or RED's version in person or even a picture of such. Because of this simple fact I just do not know for sure and again for this much money the buyer shoud know.

I'll be taking my wheels off soon to replace the rear center necks/caps with shorter ones. At this time we will take some additional mesaurements that will be helpful.

OKCDerek, approximately $175 for center caps and lug covers. 4 to 6 weeks is the wait time. Possibly quicker, but I cannot promise it. Gulf Coast Speed does not have a website. Rocky Top Trucking does, but it is small. We just did it quickly since we owned the name.

I checked with Alcoa yesterday. GCS wheels are available. They are not being discontinued. As a matter of fact, I just ordered two for a local customer Wednesday. They should arrive Friday. Then we do our thing.

1badgmc, $80.00 plus S & H for the shorter rear centers. On an '88 you should be fine. More measurents are coming soon.

Sweetness! I'm still several months out from being ready to order, but I'll look you up when I'm ready.

That's a badass rig, too!
