Van power was one of many mags in the late seventies and early eighties dedicated to vans,van shows and the van lifestyle.Minitrucks fit in well with the vans and you can see it in the show coverage and minitruck features in the mag.Nobody cared because its not a big deal and the mini's where styled the same.Minitruckin as a group is different and I know why.As far as I can remember Minitrucks have always had it ruff.The cops targeted us,other hobbiest considering us a joke.Its a battle for exceptance and respect that has been fought way before the majority of us where involved.Because of this minitruckers are defensive and feel threatened by things that are not realy relevant like a car in minitruckin every now and again.To many rebels

truckin startde as a truck and van than included minitrucks but we are gettin off subject its about lettin cars in a truck publication

Where did adjustable suspension minitrucks come from? They are an offshoot of the lowrider circuit more so then the van circuit. Most real, time not down for, old school people had wires, fender trim etc on their rides..For people to say open your eyes and embrace everything then slam lowriders is amazing. So much contradiction in some of these views it

Like I asked before... When did vans become Mini Trucks? Also like someone else asked above... When did 4 runners become mini trucks?? Ill throw another one out there... When did Scion XB's and blazers become mini trucks?? Last time I checked Trucks have beds. SO if you are going to argue that a car doesn't deserve a feature how can you say it is okay to feature any of those listed above? I thought it was cool when they did it the first time. Well the first few features were cool until they started having body kits, cowl hoods, and weren't low. If you see a car worthy.... Feature it just like the blazers, Scions, 4runners, and vans that get featured every so often. You do not see those every month. Its all the same.

I'll throw in my 2 cents because, after all, it's a free country. I'm with the guys who say to keep cars out of Minitruckin' Mag. BUT, that doesn't mean I'm anti- cars. I feel for those guys that build bad ass, mini-style cars that are slammed because they don't have a dedicated mag for their type of vehicle. Maybe there isn't enough of that type of car to have it's own publication? Just a thought. But I love those guys and I'll drink a beer with them anytime!!!!

i agree with you i have nothin against the cars and enjoy lookin at them i just dont feel that a car fits into a publication dedicated to minitrucks and as far as the blazers scions and 4 runners go thats another story that if you read minitruckin you would know the answer to that issue. scion is a hard one to let slide but blazers 4 runners broncos are just thir make of truck with a perminant topper lol

Well it was the thought that counted haha, i started this forum just to see if i was or wasnt the only one, i just figured why not have some cars shown in the mag just as much as 4runners, vans, buses, and like all the other (non minitrucks), theres so many clean bagged (or juiced) cars out there that deserve the chance to be in a mag, i wasnt saying switch it up and call it minicarin, It just would be cool to see some nice a** cars in the best and bada** mag out there.

Scions dont belong in Mini Truckin especially if a dope ass accord cant get run. a Scion is NOT anywhere near close to being a mini truck..but..just my opinion.
