Why doesn't mini truck'n change it's name and start including fullsizes? Dakotas, Canyons and the new Tacomas aren't really mini's anyway. I know I could pick up street trucks or sport truck, (forget about truckn,) but mini truckn seems more in touch.

personally i dont care either way, but as far as forerunners and blazers are concerned 4runner is based on the toyota pick ups, blazers based on s10s, amigo based on isuzu trucks, older explorer based on the old rangers. as far as vans go i have no idea what there based on but they look great built

I didn't really feel like reading thru 9 pages of response, so if this has already been brought up,I apologize for the bump. If I am not mistaken, back in the day, like late 80s Sport compact car was the alter eog of minitruckin. The ame month ole boys tandemaxle lambo door convertible datsun 720 was on the cover. The VW with the gullwing doors and tandem axle was on the cover of sport compact car

Hi every one this is Terry Holly one of the Holly Boyz i built my Lincoln because it was my dream to own a nice old school car and i wish there was a mag that we could get our cars put in we put alot of time and effort into these cars and most of us either had a custom truck or the mods we make on them were derived from one sure they have street rodder and mags like that but they are never at any of the show that i have ever attended. It seems like if you are capable of building a magazine quality vehicle you are forced to build a truck if you want that type of exposure just my two cents sorry would post a pic up of my car but i dont post here that often..

ive actually changed my mind now that i think about. i would like to see at least maybe 1 car featured in mintruckin.

We will never see full features on mini-inspired cars ever again so I think they just need to keep including them in show coverage. It was great to see Adam's car in there with all the minitrucks. I would much rather see a badass laid out Honda than another lifted golf cart or bagged red wagon.

Don't be a prick. There are lots of cars out there that i would much rather see given some attention then some of the trucks I see in the mag. I would be totally cool with seeing a car a month featured. There are so many guys out there with mini inspired imports plus caprices etc that just dont really fit in anywhere else. I think you guys take the term 'minitruckin' too seriously. We are all enjoying the same hobby and the same style of builds. Who gives a shit if its a layed out and shaved car or truck? If its badass and not riced I think it'd be a nice change now and then to see in the mag.I think any real 'minitrucker' should be able to appreciate the time and effort that these guys put into their rides, with no real dedicated 'publication' to back them.

Maybe starting a little smaller might help, like Mike doing a article on cars and the people that build them.Simply explaining to people how close we are would at least help.
I am a member of Camber(a truck club),attend truck shows, own several trucks and run a fabrication shop that makes truck parts
But,I am also a business man and know that the customer is allways right and if the majority doesn't want cars in the mag then I would say don't do it.
A few articles might be a better way to gain aceptance without offending people.

it seems alot of people have forgotten what MINITRUCKIN stands for & think solely on what the name describes. yeah i'm pretty much " the new guy" if you want to call me that, but MINITRUCKIN describes a lifestyle
