How big to make framerails?

TowNasty was 2x4 .25 wall slid inside the factory frame, weld up, the cut the top 4" off the factory frame rails, dropped the body mounts and presto...4" stockfloor....and I never had a problem.

Dang back from the dead. Ya I decided I was going to run 2x4 going wider wont help a whole lot. I just need to get the money to buy the tubing. Every time I get close a kid needs to see the dentist or something so don't forget.



And Chase instead of cash you could send me to of those slam 8's you got.

All that ish is WAY overkill.

Just run down to Lowe's and get some 2x4 steel studs. That'll work.

Yeah, just make sure you get the thicker stuff.

Just unibody it then you don't need a frame!!
