you dont want the panhard bar setup cause of the pull in the rear when you raise and lower it... i have a 2 link set up on mine and then took aother piece of 2x2 tubing .25 wall and welded it in beteeen the end of the link bars at the end to tie the link bars together... and also ran my shocks off of them to the upper crossmember on my notch.... i got my bars at suicide doors and had them make them 48 inhes long cost me lik 60 bucks for the bars with the ends and bushings...
I just made bars for my burb out of 2.25 x 2.25 1/4 wall steel tubing(it's the same width as the leafs.) Used leaf spring bushing and moved the front hanger forward. I had a panhard bar and I only had a 1/2" of side to side pull from full up to down.
lol.. i m not saying that he cant run a pan hard bar... i had one on my first dually and it shifted my rear really bad, so i cut it off and made another one that was a lil longer and adjusted it differently and still pulled my rear end over... i did my second dually a lil different and i like the wya it turned out.... just my 2 cents worth.. olol
hey husker, would you happen to have any pics of the bars you made? i will probably make my own, just need to see a few pics if possible. ec can you send me a pic of the setup on your new dually? thanks guys, bgboy
here is one of the link bars i have with the bags on the bars and i will get a pic of the rear of the bars tomorrow where i tied them together with another piece of box tubing with the shocks on there... ...
