did you build the bars yourself? looks good to me. you say you tied them in, do your links bolt on the rear with u-bolts? and bieng tied in, when going up curbs and things, does your side to side bind up? also what did you use up front for bishings? sorry for all the ?'s, just want to do it right!!!! thanks for the pics and help. bgboy

Do it right, don't do a 2 link.

It was on my burb. I don't know if I'd do a 2link again. I didn't have any problems with it and I ran it for 2 years.

All I did was take tubing the same width as my leafs, cut it to the length I wanted(as long as I could fit).

Then I took some dom that a stock leaf spring bushing would fit into and bored a hole for that in the tubing(took a while with my crappy drill press).

Pushed the dom in the hole and welded it in, and then pressed in the leaf spring bushing.

Then I measured out where I wanted the axle and drilled a small hole and put an allen head bolt in for a axle pin.

I cut the u-bolt plated in half and welded half to each side of the bar for the u-bolts to go through.

Welded on the bag brackets, painted them and then bolted them on.

It's pretty simple really.

yeahi had ekstensive make me some axle saddles and u- boltplate and new u bolts then used a 2 inch block also when i say i tied them together i mean that the part of the rear links that go past the axle about 6 inches i took another piece of 2x2 tubing and welded it in between the 2 link bars it ties the link bars together to keep the rear end from shifting from side to side.. and no i dont have anyt binding up when i am on un even ground.. i has suicide doorrs make my bars for me 48 inches long and it cam with the ends already welded in a has the bushing already pressed in... will have pics soon...

here are the pics of the rear of mine with the bar welding to the link bars with the shocks mounted to the cross bar... and for you teasers the rachet strap holding my nitrogen bottle is temporary i am having a dual bottle rack made to hold my bottles... lmao so i thought i woud throw that out there since i know you guys would rag on me about it ... lmao ...

and t hat is almost full lift with the shocks i have about maybe another inch or so i could lift, i get about a total of 12 inches or so with the shocks on without i get close to 26 inches... this set up is temporary anyways cause i am gonna run a watts link set up down the road and re fab the shocks to the front of the axle somewhere one dayt ... lol

hey gus here is a video of the rear before we put the bed and shocks back on it, just testing it before we put it all back together... and the lift was not even all the wya i could have went up more but i didnt want o over extend the bags any...lol
