As far as finding some answers on the history of the truck, I dont think anyone can tell you. That truck actually started out as Radar's baby blue dually bodydropped on titans with a diesel. So many parts have been swapped and redone to make the frankenstein you currently have. In fact, the steel 16"s that were on the truck when you got it, came off of my old dually TowNasty. Good luck with the project tho!

I have always come to a dead end when trying to find out details on the truck through previous owners. It was an act of congress to track down the last legal title holder since it had changed hands 3 or 4 times before me without anyone swapping over the title.
Would you happen to know if th etruck had started off as a single wheel or if it just had a rearend swapped into it at some point along the way???

I dont know about the 99' part of it. It did start out as a 93' or so dually. My guess would be that they swapped in the single wheel rear when they did the 24"s in the rear. And honestly, Im not sure how much of it really is the dually he started with. May just be the frame, bed, and other misc parts from the dually.

Ok well the '93 part is news to me since the title says it is a 99. So now I am even more confused then when I started...LOL! The bed was detroyed by the guy I got the truck from but it was baby blue underneath the flat black so it was obviously the original bed from when it was featured way back when. The jambs on the cab are white so I am gonna guess that the cab might have been changed at some point and the VIN on the title matches the dash tag. Who knows.....this truck has been a mystery since day 1 so I dont expect to ever know the whole story!!! I do know one thing that is confusing about if it was originally around a 93....it is definitely not a TBI motor in the truck!

I think they took a 99' cab and motor and put it on the truck that he was originally building, which was a 93ish babyblue diesel dually that was cut floor bodydropped.

post some more pics!

Well that would make sense so technically only the frame would be a 93 then so on a technicality we will call it a 99! LOL All that matters is that the state of Louisiana recognizes it as a street legal truck with a valid title so that I can put it back on the road in a few weeks after working out all the littel issues.......thanks for the input on the truck!

This is completely off subject and I might just be a retard but I couldnt figure ou thow the front senter caps go on. I have the little tabs but havent quite figured out how to attach them to the wheel. Can someone help me out with that?

Depending on the caps you have...Just snap the 4 black metal clips (should have metal prongs on them and they face outwards) on the lip of the centercaps and snap them into the wheel.

That is what I figured would need to be done but there is absolutely no where for it to go b/c the wheel is snug to the adapter and flush with the wheel. I know they can go on since I have seen it done but I havent seen a way for this to work yet. The caps are just the regular smooth chrome caps.

You may have to notch the adapters or line them up with the notches in the adapter. Since you are using steel wheels, they are thinner and therefore, no room between the face or the wheel and the adapter flange for the clips.
