Sooper Dooper Dually

I got a 700r4 that is from behind a 6.2 diesel out of my 84 burb.

id love to have the tranny but it would probably cost a small fortune to ship it. sorry it took so long to get back to ya i was unable to sign in on msn for some reason. first chance i get i will take a new updated pic of the truck but not alot has changed. but thanks for checking it out everyone

out of curiosity how much ya want for it an what do you think it weighs.a buddy up the road is going to take me to a junk yard some where about 60 miles from my house but the are supposed to be super cheap with good parts. an he said i can get one for about 75 dollars.so I'm going to go check them out also.

ok im going to do a stock floor body drop with a z . but my ? is how much more trouble would it be to do a 4 inch z an a 2 inch drop spindle. or should i just bite the bullet an pay the extra money to get a set of 3 inch spindles an do a 3 inch z. keep in mind im going to have a 6.2 diesel in it an i dont mind building a tunnel for the trany an stuff.

well i took the front wheels off the truck an it pretty much will lay out there is a couple of bolts hanging out of the bottom of the frame from it completely laying out. the front lower arms are just about to touch its atleast about an 1inch off difference between laying out on the rails. but my rear notches are not tall enough cause it has a 8 inch notch an its still a good ways from being close to as low as the front.so should i do the 3 inch spindle a 3 inch z or just use a 2 inch spindle an a 4 inch z plus a sfbd. cause i want to be able to lay the pinch weld on the asphalt when aired out plus later on i would like to go to a bigger wheel besides a 16 or so. also how bad would it be if i stretched a 17 inch tire onto a 17.5 wheel.

ok i found me some used 3 inc spindles for 125 plus shipping so im going with the 3inch spindle an 3 inch z. also husk an campy kbler elf says whats up

here is a couple updated pics frame shortened an i begun the 3 inc z in the front an also got my drop spindles installed. need to rework front lower control arms not getting enough drop

i need to modify these lower arms with a bigger pocket in it so the bag sits in them instead of rideing on the cup put in to hold them im pretty sure once this is done i wil just about be able to lay the pinch weld on the ground with a set of 29inch tall tires

still have a long ways to go. also i was thinking about zing the rear frame behind the cab inorder to get it down a few more inches what do yall think if not that i will have to rework the rear cause its all bottomed out now my notches are not tall enough.. also what bags can i get the most lift out of cause the state of va says it can't be lower than 14 inches to the bumper.
