Thats a deal for 400. thats a bunch o work.

Well you have a couple different ways you can go as far as I can see.....

1 - is as someone else stated you can reskin the the roof

2- It looks like you could sand most of that rust off that roof and be ok with it....and then weld in a new piece of metal in that hold and then bondo what needs to be filled.

3 - you could get some rust stopper. I use POR-15 for issues like this, and then you could bondo over it. Whats nice about POR-15 is that it kills the rust and hardeneds the metal. You can sand over it bondo over it and paint over it.... It really does wonders for rust!!! here is a link POR-15 link and all you do with this is paint it on with like a house brush. and its easy to sand etc....And again you need to weld in a new piece of metal where that hole is before doing anything else.

my buddy works for macco but i dont want a macco job i want it fixed where you will never know it was there but i cant do it myself so i need to find some kind soul to help me out

well you can either see if he has the knowledge to help you......not sayin he dont but some of them that work there dont know much......and see if he WILL help you or see if you find someone to teach you....fuck .man if you lived in Colorado I'd help ya out....maybe you can go to your local performance shop and talk with those guys and see if they know of any body that could help you out...


Hell Im trading some body work to this guys 69 ford cougar for my dually.... he gets what he wants and I get what I want.....I know fly me out there and I'll fix it for ya LOL

there arent any performance shops or custom shops in my area if i could work some horse tradeing out that would be good

well im going to richmond va this weekend to get another cab the pass side of cab is all rusted out were the roof meets the doors so im just going to replace the cab with one that just needs rocker instead of the whole roof an possible rockers so for 600 i can have a good cab with new rockers an cab corner plus the cost of the rocker panel a cab corner replacment parts

ok i removed the damaged roof skin this weekend an now i have to sucessfully remove a good skin to repplace the damaged skin so i lan to glue the skin back on with structure adhesive is what two body men said to do instead of sot welding it back on what do yall think

ok i got the roof covered with por15 today hopefully can put the new skin on tommorrow

are you going to use panel bond?.

that what i use at work then just spot weld the corners of the roof
