'77 Camper Special - "The Sled"

I bought some furniture dollies that work pretty well for moving it around. The problem is the cab is standing upright (the back of the cab is sitting on the driveway) so that I could clean and prep the underside of the cab without lying on my back the whole time.

Replacing your peanut ports with some large ovals will make a noticeable difference. I love my worked over 781's.

Dammit found this thread too late, would've loved to see some of the earlier build pic's.

Been pluggin away...slowly.

Pulled the frame in the garage and started stripping it down. Lopped off a bunch of misc bracketry like overload perches, spare tire hangers, etc. Getting ready for paint. Snapped a few pics along the way.





The rear suspension will be pulled as an assembly (I'll just unbolt it from the frame at the hangers/shackles). think I'm gonna pull the front x-member the same way-might be easier than trying to break down the entire front suspension. Still have to remove the brake and fuel lines, but it's getting close.



Bought a new Impact on sale the other day. Not that it's relevant, but I know how we all like pics, so what the heck...



Oh yeah, we had a pretty decent arctic storm out here a few weeks back. The Boy and I jumped in the Sub and took quick jaunt up the fire roads as soon as the snow started falling. Again, not relevant, just a little something for the pic whores...

Thanks. Motor is a TBI 350. Lift is a 3" on 35's w/ a little fender trimming.
