what did you give for the hinges?

$316.00 Shopped with bearclaw latches and latch plates. I got the ones for big doors so they would swing out enough to miss the cab corner.


it's on the bottom left. I liked it because they come with the bar between them so it takes out some of the struggle of making sure they are perfectly level to each other.

Well I got the motor built and back in and I'll be dammed if the tranny isn't still doin the same crap it was before I just got it rebuilt. It shudders for a lil bit when you put it in reverse and then it just quits pulling all together but now in drive it felt like it was slipping in and out of gear while driving down the road if I wasn't stepping on it.. Can you say DAMMIT?

The motor sounds really strong. I had the heads done and he said the exhaust valves were leaking so bad he didn;t know how I wasn;t having problems getting it started.. So that alone had to help alot let alone the intake/cam/chip/coil upgrades.

I'm wondring if your torqu converter isn't giving up the ghost, but didn't you replace that already my next thought would be the pump? but I dont know I'm just grasping straws

Ben, have u checked the rear end gears?

If not that id def consider the torque converter being trash

cheak you fluid level and allso cheak and make shur the filters in right.

Fluid level is good.. I checked and double checked that.. Also it's still the factory dip stick. The converter is new, the rear end gears are new. it worked fine in drive but has no rewind but then drive started having issues on the way back of my 2 mile test drive. I'm gonna call him today and see what he says. Hopefully he will pull it out for me because I sure don't want to.
