That's an awesome old compressor. I'm just glad technology has shrunk them down enough for us to be able to run bags without having to pull a trailer LOL. Although I'd probably pull that trailer.

those things look awesome , we lost a lot of stuf here to the smelters in ww2 and deu to verry strick inveromental rules we dont have a lot of collectors with a jard full of junk jou just cant find stuff like that here

yep, my dad lived out in the woods..junk everywhere..typical redneck...

this is the 59 ford fairlane galaxie 500 dad left me. its a standard shift on the column. and its missing the bumper,grille..etc.. but the rest of the car is all there....
don't mind all the clutter...lol it was cleaned up after i took the pic.....

the carrier bearing problem i was having is solved.. i took it to a local driveshaft shop.
i ended up having to buy the correct carrier bearing from the shop. it cost me 40.00..(no charge for labor)

and of course, it was close to 60 today and i had to work..... and for the weekend its supposed to rain tomorrow(sat), and turn to snow by sunday.... crazy a$$ weather...

Your carrier bearing fiasco has me terrified about mine getting replaced now. I got my bed off last night and it looks like my carrier is trash also. I just pray I don't have all the issues you did. Do you recall which bearing ended up working on yours??
