bagged dually   +1y
If you check out Sparkys build thread he even posted the part numbers and brands and the steering knuckles needed. Not real sure when BK2 will be back online, but if you need the info quick that might be your best bet

hahhaha

i walked through a junk yard, one is from a late model camaro and one is from an aveo. just go to a junk yard gm section and grab some steering linkage parts.

think it cost me like 10 bucks, and voila' done.

my suspension is quite modified, i have no spindles and lay HARD on stock tires. i tuck 2 lug nuts on the 16s.

that's why the 2 steering u-joints. needs to clear the upper control arm ..

What happened to the Big block?? Have you decided to just keep the small block?? I love my gas guzzling 454. Nothing sounds quite like a chevy big block.

small block is for my jeep, but its running right now and i wanted to drive the dually. the big block is not assembled, itll go in the dually when im home from afghan.

this way i could drive my truck for a bit.

and the sbc makes some power, cam/heads/intake/carb.. blah blah, its pretty fun gettin a dually sideways..

Thanks for the info. I went out today and got a linkage set up that has two knuckles on it from a 91 chevy astro van. i think it should work since it bolted right up tp my power steering pump. now just to fab it all together. Thanks man

now worries...

so today i get a call from the trans shop, my trans is toast, and the trans i gave them had more metal in the pan than in the guts..

so i need a T400..

i have a 700r4 id really love to put in there, but dont really have the time to get the driveline done and whatever else..

remember in may im off to the 'stan..

so after 3 cases we finally got a good rebuildable t400..

should be done this week.

then we can get the dually back together and on the road again.
