Well I think thats the first time I ever heard of pricks stealing shit but leaving you something you didnt have. Maybe they will take the Rx meds and have an allergic reaction or something of that nature you can only hope.
The one good thing about all this is makes for a good story when you get the truck done.

i worked as an electrician and there was one guy that was super anal about safety
whe kindah hated him for it untill the boss told us he seen someone else getting fried on some high power current by his own stupidity (he was working near life stuff and didnt cover it with safety insulation blankets )
lets just say we where a bit more understanding after that

the captan hook thing made me think of a joke i heared a while back :

a guy walks in a tavern with a hook on one hand and an eyepatch to a friend he hadnt seen in a while
the friend asks him wat happened to his hand and he told him it got cut off in and accident
then he asked wat happened to his eye the guy answeres that was because of a fly ...
a fly asked the friend ? ....... yeah the guy answered i forgot i had the hook instead of a hand when i tried to swat it

Oops wrong post. I say dark brown because I saw a blue vert mini cooper and the chocolate brown interior was pretty sick in it. Oh walk the new car lots for paint too. I saw a new toyota and I thought it was candied until I saw another one. New OEM paint is looking pretty damn good.

Hows the truck coming? I been lurking and watching your progress. I'm hoping to have my rockers and cab corners done by next weekend. I got one side done, front rocker, rear rocker and cab corner. On to the other side today, got the cab corner done and rear rocker trimmed to fit. Getting excited for paint and putting this thing back together!! Soon that hot rod black paint will be going on, you still thinking about that hot rod flatz blue?

It's been pretty slow going without an air compressor. I found an 80 gallon today I'm gunna check out tomorrow. I'm still plugging away on the front clip at school. I got the front end primed and ready to be blocked out to tonight.

a friend of mine bought a lot of empty propanetanks and put them in series with the compressor it took a while to fill the but he had enough buffer to spray a car at night without the compressor kicking in

that might work for airtools too

My little bro did that also. He actually used another air tank but same thing. His just takes forever to fill up. I'm hoping to find a 60 or 80 gallon. It'll be to heavy to easily get stolen again and I shouldn't have to worry about upgrading again for a long time.

bolt it too the floor same thing with the toolcabinet , get one of those steel officecabinets or a gunsafe for rifles to hang youre tools in ..... put some extra doorbar and petlock on it and it should be enough to keep them away from the tools

I bought a new air compressor finally today. I got a pretty damn good deal on it. It's an 80 gallon I scored off of eBay with a bit of a warranty and just exactly what I like. It's old and built pretty damn solid. So as soon as I get it to my house I can get back to working 100% again.

I also got my core support all tacked together at school. I has to cut out a couple of pretty big areas on both sides to make the intercooler fit in flush to leave room for a radiator. I'm running it upside down so the pipes will be at the top. I got at least a couple of not so great pix of what I had to do with it.
