Can anyone tell me what all models of lower control arms will fit my truck?? I managed to box mine in and like an idiot some how I made the boxed recess about an inch to narrow. So instead of trying to cut these back apart I'm just going to start over on a new set. I don't think it'll be very hard to find a new set. I just wonder if half ton and 3/4 ton arms will fit it.

I guess I have a set of boxed lowers now if someone is running a smaller bag diameter than I am. If someone can use them just hit me up.

Im not sure about the 1/2 or 3/4 but as for 1 ton arms run from like 73-91 i believe.

Probably not a bad idea. I don't think they'll be to hard to run down.

top ones are the same the balljoints in the lower ones are different between the half ton and full ton trucks and vans
from wat i understood single wheel or dually 1 ton doesnt make a difference up to the hub itself but to be sure take one of the old arms with you when you go hunting for them

They are in fact Different ball joint part numbers they are not the same. I used to work at Oreilly's and they will not interchange from 1/2 to 1 ton. Unfortunately you will need to find 1 ton A-arms. That is not to say that the arm is possibly the same but the ball joint is different.

I went out today and got the trans tunnel tacked into place with a couple pieces of old scrap steel just to hold it for now. Tomorrow I'm going to try and start making all of the side pieces to fill the 5"-6" gap I have now. I also got the stock hood set back on and there is no way in hell I'll be able to run it. My intake horn sits about 3" to high. I think I'll just run a cowl hood or just cut a hole in it for now until I decide what I want to do for sure. I'm going to pitch the grid heater so that'll put my intake another 1.5" lower. So a 2" cowl would fit.

Does anyone have access to the wiring diagrams for this truck?? I need to know what all the wires coming out of the bulkhead/fuse box on the fire wall go to. I need to get the engine wiring all tied up and get the bulkhead moved so my drivers side front tire doesn't kill it.

Got my hood cut today and started doing some body work on the cab and doors. Mostly just pulling dents. The intake is only coming through about an inch right now but the hood isn't closed all the way so it should come through about another inch or so. I didn't want to close the hood without the cable hooked up. I found the color I'm going to paint the truck at school a couple days ago. The color is House of Kolor Cobalt Blue Kandy. I'm gunna lay down a silver metallic base, lay the blue down, and lay down enough ppg clear to do a good thorough cut and buff. I think I'll probably spray a 2 tone with about the top 1/3 of the truck in a silver metal flake or some color similar to that.
