Awesome build so far man, looking like its going to be a hell of a clean truck. Quick question about the DM...If i get the DM and MMW Arms will my 89 Chevy CC lay frame in the front without my arms and other steering components scrubing (not interested in a body drop, just wanting to lay frame)? In all honesty im not a welder so im trying my best to get as much "bolt together" as i can. Thanks in advance for any advice, I havent started my build yet (actually Just picked up the truck about 2 months ago). SO JEALOUS OVER THE Z!!!

if ur not looking to lay rocker the stock cross member should be fine u would just need to cup ur lower a-arms and buy 3in drop spindles im sure u could find some one to weld it up would save u a lot of money around $2400.00 are u running a bbc or a sbc in the truck i had to cut and add 1in to my dm motor mounts because my oil pan was hitting with the bbc but the dm is really nice tho and the a-arms are just sick and very heavy duty i went with the dm and the a-arms because i am going to be towing a 2 car trailer so i didnt want to cup my lowers but if u want to use the gm and a-arms u should be just fine with laying out in the front and u will get a rack and pinion so no more steering box

Thanks for the quick response. Im pretty set on the MMW Arms lol but thanks for the info on the CM. Right now its got the factory BBC but 1 of the very first things to happen is a 6.0L LQ9 mated to my TH400 with a 3.73 gear swap. So since im not boding it theres no need for the DM, just drop spindles and MMW Arms to lay frame? Will it allow me to lay out and tuck 22" Alcoas? Any recommendations on a rack and pinion?
