new kid in the neighborhood

Quick update: I got the radiator installed and finished the engine wiring last night. I also trimmed the inside of the fenders for tire clearance and removed the inner fenders for now just to get the front end back together, basically all I need to do is get a new battery tray built/ mounted and figure out the fuel system, then get the bed trimed out for clearance, mount it and the bumpers. Then finally start wiring and plumbing the air system, and mount the york and I should be ready to roll??? I just want it done.....I can always go back and finish details later.

So I have been busting ass on this thing the last couple of days and finally made some progress..... got the truck running and finished the exhaust other than a hanger for the tailpipe, finished putting the front end on it (other than the grill), and ran the final air lines for the front end to the back of the truck. The air lines are still just T'd together with a shrader valve but I can now move the truck under its own power so that's nice. I started to build a bracket for the York but didn't get very far yet....it sucks that its starting to get dark so early now. Now as soon as I get the bed trimmed out I can put it back on and finish mounting the fuel tank for the final time, and finally start to mount and plumb the air setup. I hope to drive this thing in the next few days I cant wait....

Well some more progress this weekend....got the bed back on and got it running. Lots of little things to button up, then this week I can start to finally mount the compressor and plumb/ wire the air ride. Yeah! Getting closer to driving this turd, I'm sure my wife will be glad cause this is all she hears about and I've kinda become a hermit in the shop till its done? Oh well winter is coming soon and I need to button things up outside and finish house projects too.

Well the progress hasn't been as good as I have hoped for this week. I got the bed mounted permanently and got a bunch of plumbing done to get ready for the tank and fittings, also got the harness made for the switches and ready to install. Then last night I was starting to get ready to install the tank and figured out my check valve was junk....I scarfed it from a setup that was swapped out for my buddy. So now I ordered one and gotta wait for it to come in the mail....Oh well I have other things to mess with I guess.
